Stars over Aurora

The Aurora Colony Historical Society is pleased to present Stars Over Aurora, their 52nd quilt show! This year they’ve taken our inspiration from the night sky with stars shining bring over the town of Aurora.

Visitors can expect a stunning display of quilts, including historic pieces and quilted clothing, all showcasing incredible craftsmanship and creativity. This year’s featured quilter, Marge McCanse, will be sharing her talent, and guests can try their luck by entering the raffle for the beautiful Stars Over Aurora quilt, made from the winning blocks of the 2023 Block Contest. With quilting demonstrations, hands-on classes, and a well-stocked quilt shop offering supplies and deals, there's something for everyone to enjoy at this community celebration of quilting artistry.
