The 2025 OBRA Cross Country Mountain Bike State Championship takes place at Silver Falls State Park. The challenging course features Howard Creek Loop, Smith Creek Trail, Buck Mountain Loop, Lost Creek Trail, and the featured Catamount Trail descent. Options include short (1 lap), medium (2 laps), or long (3 laps) course distances.
Registration costs $55 for adults and $25 for juniors. All participants receive a custom race plate from Scotts Cycle. Food vendors (Hooked on Food, Don Chuys Tacos) and beverages from Santiam Brewing will be available.
Race day schedule (May 17th):
Top three finishers in each category receive medals, with championship jerseys for first place. Long course top finishers compete for cash prizes ($300/$200/$100).
Note: An Oregon State Parks pass is required for parking. Silver Falls Campground is closed until July 1st; alternative accommodations available in Silverton and Salem.
A portion of proceeds benefits Salem Area Trail Alliance (SATA).
